Our Belief -

The rational behind feeding a raw diet to dogs and cats makes sense to us. To utilize the naturally occurring proteins, fats, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in the raw food to meet the dietary requirements.

Muscle meat for the protein and fats as the primary sources of energy.

Organ meat as "nature's multivitamin" for high quality amino acids, healthy fats, trace minerals and antioxidants.

Bone and Cartilage to supply natural calcium, phosphorus, collagen and glucosamine for strong bones and teeth.

Kelp to provide iodine and trace minerals

Flax Oil to balance omega-3 fatty acids to support healthy skin, shiny coat and inflammation control.

In a mix of 80% meat, 10% organ meat, 10% ground bone. Our meat products are 100% human-grade, sourced from CFIA-inspected facilities and frozen fresh to lock in nutrition and mixed with kelp for it's iodine and trace mineral properties and balanced with flax oil for omega-3 fatty acids. This basic diet mix of various meat options can be used in rotation feeding and in conjunction with raw "treats" or the optional inclusion of eggs and fruits and vegetables.

It is our belief that this is the best nourishment option that we can offer and after sixteen years of maintaining and producing robust, healthy dogs in our breeding programs of Rottweilers and Cane Corso, in addition to various other breeds of dogs we have share our home with, we consider this an aspect of our proof.

This vivacious Cane Corso, born 10/30/2019, came into our care at seven weeks of age and has been fed our raw diet as her primary source of nutrition. Now considered a senior for a large breed, Diavola exhibits all the qualities we expect to see and are thankful for.

While quantitative research measure variables and test theories using numerical data from experiments, our qualitative research has focused on long term experience through non-numerical data, such as record keeping and observations.

Key Observations Include:

Palatable recipes - eagerly consumed & responsive to weight adjustment

Energetic, robust animals with shiny coats

Reduced allergy responses & smaller, consistent stools

Whiter teeth, reduced dental and gum disease issues

Reproduction vitality

Strong joint support and overall increased longevity

Diavola's recent health check by a registered veterinarian and a full blood panel back up our observations and give us the confidence and reassurance that our diet is working.
